The First Day of School!
My first year of all 4 kids in full-day school.
Whatever will I do with my time?!? zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
(Fast forward...I'm sitting at the computer and it's June 15th and the kids just had their last day of school! Ok, clearly I need to catch up on this...but thought it would be fun to compare the 1st and last day of school pics!)
Mark Rodriguez is their adopted brother...he is going to hang with us before school every day.
Because school started SOOO early this year (Aug 24th), out Labor Day trip meant a few days off of school. I don't think any of the kids minded.
One of our favorite things about First Landing State Park is the great oak trees.
Easton finding solace in the car, while reading a book.
Easton found this cool bone fragment. I thought is was a dolphin or shark, but it doesn't match either's exoskeleton. Maybe a fish?
The other day I had to return a book on my way to work. Can you believe the library doesn't open until 10am? And that there was a line to get it!!!
The cute and crazy girls from my primary class.
Xander's reward for finishing his 'how to read in 100 easy lessons' book.
Of course he picked going to Chuck E Cheese with his favorite girl, Sarah.
Just another delicious dinner at the Macphersons.
My sweet Rachel Macpherson. We found a cool feature on the phone that lets me add all sorts of animal features to her face. This was one of our favorites.
Baby Lindsee Tikalsky. Her mom is a dancer. I think she will be too!
Yep, my boys love babies. I told them they can always enjoy our friend's babies since we are DONE!
Crazy hair day. Not quite as ornate as last time, but they gave me a 10 minute reminder so we grabbed what we had and sprayed!
The sacrifices I make! Green hands for the rest of the day!
I scored being the new lego club teacher. This is a group of K-2 kids. They are awesome, such good and fun ages. Week 1 theme was to make your name out of legos and a robot.
No fall is complete without a trip to the farm. The fall festival was in full swing along with the corn maze.
Capturing a rare moment when the house is clean.
Our farewell Mac & Cheese luncheon for Leif. His family is headed to Uganda for a couple year.
