Virginia Beach Memorial Trip

We love going to the beach.  We can honestly say we have loved every vacation we have ever taken at the beach.  The past few years we have discovered an amazing deal.  For $89 we stay at a Marriott hotel (which is located on the beach) with a hot breakfast and free parking.  They have mini fridges, microwaves, and sinks in the room as well.  There is also an indoor and outdoor pool.  There are also two great play areas on the beach right by the hotel.  Seriously, it doesn't get better (or cheaper).

I thought it may be a little difficult with 18 month old twins, but fortunately they feared the water enough that it wasn't a big deal.  Our friends, the Airmets, played at the beach with us the first day.  It was the big boys favorite day.  They were constantly running in and out of the waves.   We also enjoyed many hours of catching sand crabs and finding sea shells!

We just down-graded our kitchen table from a counter-height to a regular height.  The twins are always climbing on top of it.  They love standing on the table too, but I never get a picture of that because I am too busy getting them off the table before they fall off!

We call this the pain train.  Xander always grabs Declan by the shoulders and pushes him around the house.  Declan, of course, hates it.  Xander, of course, thinks it's hilarious.

People always ask me if I'm going to try to have a girl.  I decided when I have a desire for a girl, I'll just throw this wig on Xander!

Declan is constantly pulling the dry fruit out of the pantry for a snack.  He loves dried cherries the most.

Happy Birthday David

David turned 37 this year!  We made pork chops and potatoes and a strawberry jello poke cake.
The boys gave David his very own binder with several of their Pokemon cards!  (He also got a new mountain bike).
