A cool day in June..time to start an outdoor project! (which hasn't been worked on since)
"We" are building a landing made of pavers to keep our garbage can and recycle bin on the side of the house.
Who doesn't enjoy watching someone else work?!
Declan, Xander, and Xander's favorite neighbor, Skye.
You know he's 40 now...
I have to capture the moments where he can still work hard without having to take a nap!
A typical day of epic kickball in the cul-de-sac
The boys helping me make brownies.
A moment of love between the madness.
Monopoly. The game that trumps all games.
Easton caught this awesome moth.
His hand for an understanding of how huge it was.
Xander and his jar of fireflies.
Bambi at our neighbors side yard. It was tiny.
We believe it lost his mother.
Dad and Declan proud of their balance skills.
Xander plugged in.
See my tall columns on my front porch?...
See the snake?!...
See the snake inside the bird nest after eating the baby eggs or baby birds! :(
After seeing this I swore I saw a snake everywhere.
Seriously, if they can get this high, where else will I find them!!!
Twins. Always connected.
Easton after a self-initiated water fight.
His opponent.
Our cute neighbor, Emma. She is the same grade as Cache.
Declan usually hates getting his picture taken.
He tried to hide behind his ear of corn...
Then finally gave in!
Xander decided a typical mohawk wasn't enough...
He added his own style with a pair of scissors, then refused to let us 'fix' it.
Don't you miss laughing for no good reason?!
The last day of school. Easton had pajama day. Cache was Cache.
I started threatening them if they didn't smile.
Finally. A last day of school picture.
Easton had a class party the last day of school.
I decided I am done just going to their parties for moral support.
Seriously, why do the teachers invite us anyway? If we don't go and every other kid's parents go (like in our school) we just look bad to our kid if we don't go.
Here's to starting a new trend!
The snake from the birds nest is back!
A picture from our chalk board in Young Womens. This was one girls drawing of the Holy Ghost.
I love it.
Boy Scout Camp.
I had to (I mean, had the privilege to) go with Cache to camp every day since he was a Tiger Scout.
Thankfully, Katie's nanny agreed to watch the twins during that time (although they cost me another few hundred bucks). Cache had a great time. Easton had a great time. I survived.
Of course they loved BB's, Archery, and Sling shots the most!
They were pretty good at it too.
