April 2014

C'mon Xander, try 2 more...

maximum capacity.

Once in a while I actually take the pins from my Pinterest account and do something with them!

Scrape off the shaving cream (from the Dollar Store)...wallah!

My saddest visit to the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.  We left later than we should have (I was trying to avoid crowds)...which worked, but somehow we got there right as the sun set.  We could barely see the cherry blossoms and really nothing showed up on my lame camera.
Oh, and note to self...don't give the kids suckers before a photo shoot!

Cherry what?  Boo hoo.

Enjoying a beautiful day at Great Country Farm.

The kids are only allowed in the corn bin in the spring while the corn is still fresh.

Capturing a rare moment when both twins are sleeping.

Our friends gave us this martial arts gear.
The kids think it's awesome full-body gear for wrestling.

Hammering golf tees into Styrofoam and then balancing golf balls on them.  That lasted 5 minutes.
Then it became a game of hammering the tees into the Styrofoam so deep it was impossible to get them all out!

March 2014

Easton had a scout 'sock war' activity night, so naturally I couldn't make just one shield.
We had a great box from luggage with thick cardboard (which acted as a great fortress).

I love little boys.  This is the structure I found on my front porch this morning.

Preschool time.  Xander loves the letter X, although it makes the sound Z.  Pretty confusing.

D is for Declan and dad.

Enjoying a nice hike at Harpers Ferry.
The kids are all old enough now that no one has to be carried, hurray!

Another reason I love little boys.  They are actually aiming into the hollow of this tree stump.

This forest had some weird looking trees...
I imagine they are all being overtaken by vines, but it looked cool.

Checking out an old historic house along the way...

A cool bridge built by some kid for their Eagle Project.  Thanks Scouts!

Discovering their first geocache of the hike.

The twins had to submit a picture for their preschool next year.
Here's my best attempt to make them look sweet...

Not one of Cache's happy moments.

The kids make some pretty cool creations with their Kinext.

This is why plastic bags all have suffocation warnings...

Monkey see, monkey do!
