May 2017

Yeah!  My mom came for a visit and she is so wonderful.  I always put her to work the entire time and she doesn't seem to mind at all!  The twins are really into giving back massages (probably because I pay them a quarter to do it!) As a reward for her hard work (and in order to get another quarter), the twins are giving my mom a back massage.

Isn't this freaky?! Easton took a picture of the tv just as this image flashed (not an actual show we were watching but some kind of Netflix preview...I gave up horror shows YEARS ago!)

The kids latest obsession...Roblox

My toothless Delcan.  He may be the youngest, but he has lost his teeth earlier than anyone else!

Yep, we call this brotherly love at my house!

We bought a trailer!  Yep, it's huge, beautiful, and like a second home.
In fact, getting rid of everything and living in this baby may be in my future!

Just another day having dinner at the beautiful Macpherson backyard.

I have a love / hate relationship with school field trips.
Love my kids, hate the bus ride and long day.
These kindergartners were pretty cute though and the farm we went to had a lot of fun hands on learning .

Happy 42nd Birthday David!

The boys.

Farewell Grandma, come again soon!  (and thanks for the haircuts!)

My front-toothless twins.  With all their differences, it's fun to see them go through some things at the same time!

I am forever on a plight to find good non-tie shoelaces.  I guess a better solution is to have my kids tie their shoes, but when they come home every day with one untied or just refuse to wear a pair because they do tie, I feel defeated.  These laces along with another kind I found at Nordstrom are 'tying' us over for now!

Have I mentioned yet how much we love our time before Kindergarten?
Here we are at the local farm (Temple Hall) enjoying an absolutely beautiful day!

April 2017

Love these two monsters.  The morning time before Kindergarten is our favorite.

March means baby chicks!  We picked out our baby chicks this year and the boys are in love!

Easter was mid-April this year which also means our annual community Easter Egg hunt!

I love my mom and her many last names!

The adults enjoying their time at Chuck E Cheese.
David found the perfect holding position to get 20 tickets each time!

Katie decided to join in and grab her share too!

Yep, the kids earned all these prizes!
With the new 2 hour - all you can play passes, the world is their oyster!

Easton looking very smart.

Our favorite little friend, Rachel, over for a playdate!

Only in Northern Virginia will you find 1/2 million dollar homes with a duck taped mailbox.

We also had a late Spring Break this year which meant warmer weather.
This year we scored a week at my bosses beach house in Emerald Isle.
Let's just say, 8 master bedrooms, a pool, and hot tub...all along the beach was quite a nice vacation!
The boys even managed to find some shark teeth!

Just hanging out in the hot tub, listening to the ocean!

Just what I always wanted...Easton let me braid his hair today!

Just a little playdate with the boys before kindergarten!

As a reward for selling so much popcorn for the scout fundraiser, we got free tickets for six flags.
Unfortunately, Cache was sick and had to stay home so we traded him out for Easton's friend David.
