These two guys love to help out in the kitchen. Todays project...rolls for dinner and cinnamon rolls for breakfast!
Not too far away, we have a pond coined 'the turtle pond'. Last year we came and caught a few turtles, brought them home, loved them for a few days (at least the boys did...I was driven crazy by the constant hand-washing) and returned them. The boys are always asking to go catch turtles. Finally they go their chance!
The twins ate most of the turtle bait... colored marshmallows. They are both reaching towards me because I am holding the bag.
David and Cache ended up catching the only turtle today (although it was quite large). We realized we needed the long-poled net for successful turtle catching this year. Next time we will be better prepared!
At Frying Pan Park with our friends, the Snows. Here are the twins with their friend, Dashel. His older brother is also named Easton. We have Easton Svir and Easton Snow (although our Easton is 2 years older, so he is clearly the more original!)
It turns out the twins both love petting and feeding the animals...especially Xander.
While taking this picture I ended up losing Xander. I ran towards the parking lot to make sure he didn't get run over while my other friend headed towards the playground. Fortunately, he was at the playground. While I was getting Xander, Declan ran off into the carousel area (through a slotted fence). Fortunately it was closed for lunch!
This is why I traded in my counter-height table for the regular height table. They think they are so funny.
Our version of a clown car. When the boys can't possibly wait for their turn on the jeep, we just load them all up.
Declan wins the 'most accessorized' award. He is always wearing a bracelet (silly band, rubber band, hair tie) and/or a neclace.
This June, I turned 33...I think.
